3rd International Conference on Bangladesh Environment 2010 (ICBEN 2010)organized by Bangladesh Poribesh Andolon (BAPA) and Bangladesh Environment Network (BEN)in association with 11 public and 11 private Universities: University of Dhaka (DU), Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET), Bangladesh Agricultural University(BAU), Jahangir Nagar University (JU), Chittagong University (CU), Rajshahi University (RU), Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST), Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), Chittagong Veterinary & Animal Sciences University (CVASU), Jagannath University (JnU), North South University (NSU), East West University (EWU), Independent University Bangladesh(IUB), BRAC University (BRACU), Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology (AUST), American International University Bangladesh (AIUB), United International University (UIU), Daffodil International University, Stamford University and University of Asia Pacific (UAP). The Opening Session and Closing Session were held at ‘Osmani Memorial Hall’, Abdul Gani Road, Ramna, Dhaka and the rest of the events were held at ‘Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhavan’ complex of the University of Dhaka, Ramna. The program was inaugurated by the Honourable Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina. Begum Khaleda Zia, Honorable Leader of the Opposition was the Chief Guest in the concluding session.
