Bangladesh Poribesh Andolon (BAPA) organized a press conference on the Expert Study Report entitled “Impact of Climate Change and Unplanned extraction of underground water on food production & Ecosystem of Bangladesh ” on 28th September 2012, Friday at 10-30 a.m. at the Round Table Lounge of Dhaka Reporters’ Unity (Segun Bagicha, Dhaka-1000). The program was presided over by the BAPA Vice-President & former head of the department of Civil Engineering of BUET Prof. Feroze Ahmed while the team leader of the study team Dr. Eftekhar Alam (eminent Agriculture, Water & Environmental Engineer cum researcher) presented the keynote delivery. Prof. Feroze Ahmed and Vice President of BAPA will chair the session.
