BAPA, Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB), Center for Human Rights Movements (CHRM), Save the Sunderbans, Krishi Jomi Raksha Committee (KJRC), Bagerhat Development Commission (BDC) & Green Voice (GV) jointly organized a Press Conference on a Study Report on the “Impacts of proposed Rampal Thermal Power Plant on the Environment of the Sunderbans and the adjacent areas” at the VIP Lounge of National Press Club (Topkhana Road, Dhaka-1000). This report is the outcome of a year long scientific study conducted by the Department of Environment Discipline, Khulna University. Prof. M. Abdullh Harun Chowdhury (Khulna University) presented the details of the report in the press brief.
